Why should parents apply for TEFA Funding?

The new TEFA program in Texas gives families more freedom and more choices in their child’s education.

1. The funding follows your child.
As long as the State of Texas continues the program, TEFA funding follows your student each year all the way through high school. That means long-term support for your family. You can plan ahead with confidence, knowing help is there year after year.

2. It helps cover the true cost of education.
At Promise Academy, it costs almost $15,000 each year to educate one student. Families on average pay about 10% of that amount. The rest is raised through the generous support of individuals, churches, foundations, and businesses in our community.

TEFA funding helps bridge that gap. It allows Promise Academy to continue offering an exemplary, Christ-centered education while keeping tuition affordable for families.

By applying for TEFA, you are not only helping your own child — you are helping strengthen the mission and future of our school.
