SAFETY

The safety of our students is of utmost importance. Kids who don’t feel safe at school don’t come to school. Because of that, we take the following measures to ensure our kids are as safe as possible during the school day:

Promise Academy has a response team made up of school staff that are armed. These school personnel are trained, tested, and certified by the Texas Department of Public Safety Security Division as PPOs.

All of our exterior doors are locked at all times and access can only be granted by the Front Desk personnel or with a security badge. Our faculty and staff also all have Promise Academy identification on their person at all times.

Promise Academy uses the Active Defender emergency notification system. It’s a push-button notification system for instant alerts that we can use in emergency situations.
